On May 24, 2013 the NYC boxing scene will shift its attention, for once, to a female fighter aiming for her fourth career title – IWBF Featherweight Champion of the World.

Ronica is a dominate force and one of my favorites in the gym – she is both quick and talented but also a true student of the sport. She is a talent and a role model to many in the gym and her work ethic goes above and beyond.

In preparing for her next bout, the Queen and I have spend a lot of time focusing on her explosive movements and agility. Ronica’s speed and quickness take maintenance and they empower her to continue her streak as an undefeated World Champion (12-0-0, 1KO). We work together every day including strength, agility, cardio and plyometric work.

Ronica suits up here in NYC against a vet in less than three weeks. Come check us out at The Westchester County Center for ‘Fight Night’ in White Plains featuring Ronica vs. the Canadia Olivia Gerula (13-13-2, 3KOs).

Kwame’s Fighters #2 – Melissa “Little Miss Tyson” St Vil

You don’t want to run in to her in a dark alley, she’s big, she’s strong, and she’ll make you laugh instantly – she’s also one of the baddest chicks in the gym. Melissa is a professional Lightweight fighter with a 4-1-2 record, a brooklyn native, and a force to be reckoned with.

She transitioned an incredible amateur career to the pros and is focused on winning her first Title fight this summer. Known for her thick frame and big power, Melissa works with Kwame on a regular basis to increase her stamina and agility.

What about sprints with the treadmill turned off? She conquers it all.

Headed to Atlanta this summer to battle for a belt, Melissa has put her faith and hard work in Kwame’s hands. He has also customized a special diet for Melissa, who will need to cut down to 136 lbs before her fight, without losing her edge – no easy feat.

What are you trying to achieve?
